Where something old, meets something new
Lumière means "light" in French.
My grandfather started raising chickens when he was young, and named it "Yongguang Chicken Farm", which later became our family business.
In French philosophy, Lumière also means "enlightenment." While enlightenment is generally considered an external force, for the French, it's more like a "source of light"—a light emanating from within. We shouldn't wait for others to illuminate us; instead, we should find strength and ideas within ourselves, allowing our own light to shine on those around us.
We named the restaurant Lumière to continue the spirit of our grandfather's entrepreneurial days, and also to find our own Lumière.
